The NY Times reports that an officer's postings on social networking sites MySpace and Facebook may have had an effect on a criminal trial, where the defendant was acquitted of the most serious charge. Among the officer's alleged online comments at issue: his MySpace "mood" that he was feeling "Devious," as well as the officer's Facebook post that he "is watching 'Training Day' to brush up on proper police procedure."
